The official website for OpenHCI 2026, Taiwan's premier student-led Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) workshop, is now officially live! Dedicated to promoting the field of HCI and fostering hands-on, cross-disciplinary collaboration, OpenHCI serves as an intensive incubator where talents from design, computer science, communication, and psychology converge to redefine how humans interact with future technologies.
We are incredibly proud to share that students from the Master’s Program in Digital Content and Technology (DCT) continue to play a pivotal role in this prestigious event. Year after year, our students have stepped up to take on the responsibility of General Chair, leading large-scale, cross-institutional organizing teams. This year is no exception: nearly 30% of the executive committee and staff members for OpenHCI 2026 are comprised of our very own DCT students.
By applying the design thinking, interaction methodologies, and project management skills nurtured within our program, these student leaders are actively shaping the future of the HCI community.
